“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” Colossians 3:23
Getting stuck is such a frustrating feeling. Sometimes, it seems that my mind is so full of ideas and thoughts that I can’t move forward; I’m just stuck. It doesn’t help to keep looking at the wonderfully creative websites of others, or see their programs or wonder why they came up with ideas I think I should have had.
But that’s no excuse. Getting stuck is no one’s fault but my own. The real name for the condition if “procrastination.” Yes, I said it – not getting started doing what I’m supposed to do. Not working on my business goals, not setting up the teleseminar that needs to be scheduled for next week, not wanting to think about the articles I need to publish to help with my marketing. I get stuck, want to blame it on the fact that others are getting their work done and then end the day without reaching my goals.
Not good – can’t let this happen.
That’s exactly why I made myself stay up late tonight to make this blog post. It’s time to move ahead with goals. Are you letting yourself get stuck? Do you have every excuse in the book to keep yourself from just getting stated?
There’s no secret about what to do. The answer is to just do it – get started. You have goals to reach. Start working towards your goals as working for the Lord – not for others – not for you – but for your God.
